TIMING MDS ranking
The ranking accessible on our website is provisional. It will be posted as events happen and all details won't be included immediately. If a name doesn't appear, it might be that the runner isn't yet ranked or has still to arrive. Desert conditions slow down information, so don't worry, just check the website later. Important: there is a 2 hour between France and Morocco – 8 p.m. France = 6 p.m. Morocco.

Operation keep the desert clean Ever keen to respect the environment, all bottles have been numbered since edition 3 and penalties levied on competitors if their bottles are found on the race route, between start of race and finish line check-in point (ART. 27 and 28)

Timing MDS
The 26th SULTAN MARATHON DES SABLES is approaching fast and some of you have asked our organization for information on subjects that have already been covered in different documents and on the website darbaroud.com (e.g. race rules, hints and tips, MDS schedule, the darbaroud and bledrunner forums, etc.). Due to the high number of competitors, the organization is not able to answer you all individually. The whole AOI team is focused on finalizing the last items to get the event rolling. Some of our team are already on site in Ouarzazate, meaning staff numbers in France are reduced. We would therefore be grateful if you would post your questions on the various forums, where former competitors are always happy to make contact with new runners and give them advice. For questions not about the 2011 event, please contact AOI again in May 2011.
